Understanding controls over plant community change; Species introductions effects on ecosystem composition, structure and functioning

My work is focuses on applied ecology and multi-trophic interactions in riparian and coastal wetland systems. Research topics include the effects of invasive species on natural communities, mechanisms of invasion, plant conservation, tri-trophic interactions, and biological control. I also conduct large-scale restoration and effectiveness monitoring projects in riparian systems.
